Call me crazy(everyone else does Tongue ) but I was talking to a friend today. He's having a hard time. He's injured, suffering from PTSD from military time, split with his ex and his 5 yr old asked him yesterday why his mommy didn't pick him up from school like all of the other kids. He said that his son looked at him and said "Daddy can I tell you something. Mommy broke my heart." and started crying. He's home all day by himself and was talking about how his mind is always thinking and reliving and thinking. I said I used to be like that until my mind went away. It got me thinking. Maybe Fibro fog is a blessing for me. I've learned to let go and not worry about things I can't control or change. Call me crazy but right now I'm glad I have fibro fog.

That is so sad.

I do believe we get to the point we have to let go of many (if not all) worries. You're not crazy....just have a blessing out of the chronic illness(es) you have.

If we all find a way to take the positve and the blessings out of what the Lord has given us, we would all be so much better off.

You are not crazy at all, just realistic. I know for me, once I got past the acceptance part, I learned alot and one of them was to count my blessings even more then I already was and to use this illness to be productive in other ways, spending more time with family, etc. I'm confident that this has all happened to me for good reasons, not bad. I still have my days, believe me but for the most part, I choose to be happy Smile

It is times like these that we realize how lucky we are. We hurt, but our people coming back from war can hurt so much more, lose families, low self-esteem and whole lot more than we can imagine.

The info I gave above is just my opinion. Please go to a dr or professional for further advice. Remember we are all different. God bless you all.
