MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

I've heard that over growth of mutated candida yeast can cause certain symptems, but not that it was the cause of fibro.

I don't think that anyone is yeast free, as much as I would love to be, it is just that we are so used to the symptoms of over growth of yeast that we don't even pay attention to it. I read a book about it once, and it was amazing all of the problems that yeast cause. I wish I could remember what it was or even if I own it or it was borrowed, oh well, tis the way it goes!

I saw a self proclaimed "expert" on FMS and CMPS about a year ago, and he said that yeast does have something to do with both FMS and CMPS.

He said the yeast in bread and other starchy foods builds up in our bodies along with the yeast we already produce, and that causes the trigger points to be inflamed. He put me on a whole foods diet with no yeast or starch of any kind, as well as no hydroginated (sp) oils and it worked for a while, but i had to quit seeing him b/c insurance didnt pay for him because he was holistic or something...

Now that ive rambled completely off topic...LOL

Hugs,

Amanda
