MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is somewhere i feel safe i feel i can be myself and not be judged. I love the fact that i get to see that im not alone in what i am going through and i also get the chance to help others on their journey through guidance and communication.
I would truly be lost without MDJunction... to me its my savior, my personal place to go where i don’t feel so alone anymore in the world.

Saw a program last night with Diane Sawyer, she had Randy Pausch on there, a professor who has terminal pancreatic cancer. WOW. He has so much positive energy and loving life to its fullest. I decided I need to do that and stop complaining all the time about my aches and pains and LIVE my life every day as it is the greatest reward ever, because it is. I am going to do things I want to do, be completely honest upfront with everyone, stop sugar coating, be the best person I can be. He was very inspirational and if you want to see his lecture, follow thihttp://www.youtube.com/results? search_query=the+last+lecture&search_type=

If it doesnt work, go to YouTube and type in The Last Lecture.

That is what I try try to do! IT doesn't do me any good to mope around and complain about my pain. It just waste what little energy I may have anyway.

I try to be PRO-ACTIVE with my health instead of RE-ACTIVE!

I learned a long time ago not to just rely on Dr.s but rather to study and learn for myself and find good all natural ways to deal with my medical problems as much as possible. I can complain and gripe or "I" can do something about it "myself"!

I try to enjoy all the simple little things in life that I use to take for granted

Me too! I was think about that last night. Im 20 years old, i need to get out and live my life. I am moving out, Im not going to stay home in fear that something "might" happen. Im young and this is supposed to be the best time of my life, you never know what tomorrow will bring. I need to make the best of this life

Wasn't that a FANTASTIC show? I too was glued to the TV. Having had a bad painful and 'emotional' day yesterday, I kicked myself in the butt and gave myself a good lashing for complaining about 'my' situation. But we all have to stop and throw ourselves a 'Pity Party'. I added one of Randy's quotes to my signature as it is sooo true. I really give Randy's wife credit. I know I could not 'keep it together' if I had to watch my husband die like that.

Their strength, inspiration, and willingness to live each day to the fullest should be a lesson for us all.

So..what will be the 'best' part of our day, and what will be our 'worst' part of our day! Hmmm
