I actually went just over a week without a major flareup....then WHAM!! It always hits you when you least expect. the vicodin does nothing for me at this level. I also was recently diagnosed with cervical stenosis and I just had 2 foot surgeries, so I have no clue to what is actually causing the pain/weakness.

the stenosis is progressing rapidly and I don't know if I already have nerve damage. I also have been trying to locate a dr that is willing to do the procedure. so far there isn't a dr that I have been to that will even touch me due to the fact that during my first cervical fusion the dr cut my artery during surgery and I suffered a major stroke. I do have an appt with an orthopedic surgeon next week, so I keeping my fingers crossed. I do face the risk that the surgery will leave me paralyzed, but I am already on the fast track to needing a wheelchair. I am soo frustrated as to what IS actually causing the pain.

I have cervical and lumbar stenosis and DDD, with spondylothesis. I cannot get any kind of surgery because no one will touch me, as I have an aneurysm, and a hx of blood clots, on Coumadin 10 mg every day. My dr said that if I dont have a surgery within the next few yrs I will probably be in a wheelchair. Not too promising info but I will just have to adjust I suppose when that day comes.
