good Luck on your procedure. I now it is scary but it souinds worse than it usually is. even if you come out of it with an ICD it isn't much different from having the pacemaker you already have. I know there are scarier things about having an ICD but alot of times it is put in more as a preventative thing. kind of a better safe than sorry type thing. Don't feel guilty about taking the time you need for recovery we will be here for you when you are ready to come back

Thank you all for the kind words. I know I will get thru this ok but is seems the older I get, the more scared of surgery I become. I am esp scared that they dont want me to stop my Coumadin and if they have to cut me to put ICD in, that will be a big ole mess!!

Thanks all! I am at a 10/10 and 9/10 on pain and fatigue today. Dh thinks I am just super stressed, he is right. I came to work with him today to keep my mind off things. At least to try. He went and bought me a bunch of magazines to read, flower and decorating ones.
