I am looking for a new antidepressant that will have no sexual side effects, no weight gain and will also address my fibro pain.

I will be trying a new one in 2 weeks called Milnacipran. It is not FDA approved but I'm getting it from Europe.

Please give me feedback if you've tried it or know anyone. I want to know what to expect and I pray it works.

You were guaranteed to get the Milnicipran and not placebo because this study was to determine if Milnicipran causes a rise in blood pressure.

You were not permitted any other pain med except for Tylenol.

I've been reading good things on the net about Milnicipran use for fibro pain, but I am so happy someone here is actually trying it and can share their experiences with the drug. Good luck!

It doesn't address fibro pain, but Wellbutrin is a good antidepressant with no sexual side effects and it doesn't cause weight gain. It can be taken with Milnicipran I believe if you need something for depression/anxiety.

It's sometimes given with the SSRI's so the SSRI dose can be lowered and it increases sex drive and doesn't cause fatigue like the SSRI's can in some people.
