MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

I have not tried pot, but I have spoken to a lot of people that have, and the 'mean' consensus is that they like that it gives them an excuse to smoke pot. I believe that it is useful in the treatment of pain. Good Luck in our screwed up society.

It helps me alot and not just to give me an excuse to smoke it. I wouldn't need one....

When I had cancer in the late 70s my oncologist gave me an RX for legal pot from my drug store. I filled the script but never used it. I just couldnt. I just went ahead and suffered with the pain and the nausea, and I survived! I wouldnt do it. I doubt it helps.

My ex husband went through several painful spinal fusion surgeries, and he swore up and down that he'd rather smoke weed than take the Tylox they gave him post-op because it helped him more with the pain. He no longer smokes by the way, which is good because of the legal issues, but now has to take Oxy Contin and Lyrica for a bad knee (inoperable supposedly) and is partially disabled. I'm sure he'd rather still be smoking dope than popping pills, but since my kids have visitation with him twice a month, I'm glad he doesn't!
