MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

I got up to walk into the kitchen and there was the pain in my hip again. It's in my butt, hip and down the front of my leg to my knee. Boy does it hurt. I have to put my weight on the other leg which I'm sure throws everything out of whack then my back starts to hurt again.

I hate to complain but, damn this condition makes life hard. I wanted to vacuum and wash floors today but that's out now. Oh well,, things could be worse I guess.

Hope others are having a better day.

(((((soft hugs to all)))))

Sounds a bit like either sacroileitis or sciatica.... that kind of pain is SO hard to get rid of!

Thanks gals. I thought that Sciatica was shooting pains down the back of one's leg which I do have that too. This is a steady pain but it seems definately nerve related.

You may need to see the doc. When I had a pain like that it would not go away and I had to see him. After an x=ray we found out I have a bulging disc that pinches a nerve and causes this awful pain. Nothing really helps alot but I use muscle relaxers and pain meds. A chiropractor can help by doing an adjustment but I still need the pain meds. after that for a couple of days.
