I'm not sure if this is due to the Fibro and other issues I have, the medications, or what, but my teeth are crumbling and I wondered if anyone else is having that problem? With the PTSD, Panic and Anxiety attacks, I'm a teeth clencher, but even when I do have lapses when I'm not clenching I am finding pieces of teeth that are no longer attached, or worse, I find them when I eat or drink something real hot or real cold.

Is anyone else noticing any tooth trouble? I have 9-10 teeth that will have to be removed eventually if they aren't completely gone by the time I get some money for a dentist...which won't be for a few years, so I'll probably have many more than that needing removed by that time.

Thank you for your replies.

Off to bed now, Love and hugs to all

Pamela {please}

I wish tons of love and hugs!

Pam, YES!~ My teeth are a nightmare. I'm in the process of having several pulled now and that too has been a fiasco with the pain being over the top when I developed dry socket after the extraction and then a gum absess too!

I already have a partial plate on the uppers and now will have to get one on lowers too. My teeth crumble like what you talking about...I'll be chewing something and all of a sudden bite down on something metal tasting, and it will be part of a filling with chunks of tooth attached to it. I am not sure if it is due to the fibro or not...but I think there must be some connection, because most of my molars are crumbling apart and any gumline filling always fall out within a few months. I never used to have this problem. It's depressing....sorry you are having the same problem.

i don't know if it is the meds or the fibro. it started happening to me around 2002. i first noticed it at work while trying to eat lunch, you know you have a problem when an icecream sandwich has chunks in it or it goes crunch when you bite into it. sounds like most of us will stop grinding our teeth soon enough.lol

Teeth and skin -- my gumlines receded, nerve exposed very senstive and when meds are at max dose even more so. BUT my skin -- yuck. Hair is dry all the time and my face now has enlarged pores and breakouts.. at 46 -- maybe hormonal too. who knows? but yeah -- never thought of connecting teeth to treatment or condition. great just another gift!

My gums have receded too auggie and the roots exposed which is painful. I have to use Sensodyne toothpaste for it and I've broken two teeth in the last few months eating. I thought it was just because they were old and had large fillings but maybe it is because of Fibro. who knows!

This is yet another reason WHY I went to using ALL NATURAL Meds!

I know not everyone has great success with all natural meds/products and I feel so sorry for those people having to continue dealing with all the bad side effects of their meds.

I wish we had a miracle solution for EVERYONE!

On my profile you can read about an all natural organic "juice" I take (only 1 oz. per day) that has been a miracle for me and my husband!

There is also a web site on there where you can get 5 WEEKS FREE! IT's called Exfuze Seven+. No I don't sell it

Also for bad flare ups an all natural anti-inflammatory and pain reliver called CURAMIN. You can get it in some health food stores and online at www.curamin.com

If you have any further questions, just send me a PM and I will be glad to help you any way I can. Taking the juice has put my Fibro in remission now

My teeth are weaker but I think it is because I am older, not due to fibro. I do clench my teeth a lot which tend to irritate my nerves and give me a pseudo-toothache.
