MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

Hi cmt~~~

I don t notice bruising since being dx d with Fibro and don t recall others mentioning it. If some do, I m sure they will follow with their stories ~~~

Are you on a blood thinner ? Could it be some other medication you are taking ?

I also bruise very easily. But I have noticed that I do not see as many bruises as I used to, but am not working right now and I also had to stop taking all the Motrin and Aleve, per the doctor. I do think we bruise much easier and I think the medication plays a big role in it.

I try not to overdo things anymore, which I hate, but I think this also helps minimize the bruising. I would bruise just picking up a box by using my arms to carry it. Both of my arms would bruise where the box sat. But I think my bruising was from the medications, I took a ton of Motrin, Aleve, Tylenol, Excedrin, anything like that to make it through work. I no longer do this, I am only allowed 2000mg a day now because of the Savella and Lyrica I am on.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

I am just like you and I am on MDJ for support and true friendship. Please, always consult with your doctor about medical advice and medication, never take one's opinion regarding your most precious asset which is your life.
