Hey hipmama, I haven't been on any meds for awhile and I still get these, so I guess they are not from meds--at least for me. However, I think the hickey excuse is quite funny!LOL Boy my hubby must have been busy to make all the splotches I get!!

LOLOLOL! That's a good one! I am -- uh, was -- a natural redhead with very fair skin. I've always had "emotional" red blotches that erupted under stress. Now I get them from dry skin during the winter, stress, fibro flares, you name it! They often itch and I have found that Lubriderm for X tra dry skin helps with that and they often disappear as quickly as they appear.

I get red blotches usually only one or two at a time. They come up during a flare and burn really bad, then a day or two after they appear they randomly start bleeding. It's really wierd. I saw a dermatologist and they said it could be due to medications, but I know it's really from the fibro. Lucky us!

After hearing all of these different stories I feel very blessed to have the doctor I have and for having the medications that I have and for them doing the job that they are suppose to be doing for the time being.
