MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunnyfly)

How did you come about your name coolmamma? Do you feel "cool" at times.

As a teenageer, what was something that made you feel like you were cool.

Don't tell your age if you don't want to - but what was cool when you were a teenager. Of course, after you tell us a few things that were cool when you were a teenager, we'll pretty much know when you were a teenager

Do you like to swim? Do you paint, or draw, or sketch?

What dream came true for you?

What dream are you still waiting for that within reason might acturally happen?

What is your favorite season, why?

Are you married, children, grandchildren (guess I should have read your file huh? )

Do you like to dance?

Did you go to your high school prom. Was it wonderful?

Ok, I will play along...bear with me tho, the fog here is thick!

My name "coolmamma" came from a previous job I had. Within our office, we had IM so we wouldn't have to walk across the office to ask a simple ? at times. Well, the girl training me made my signature read "coolmamma" cuz she heard me talking about my kids & how they thought I was "cool" cuz I knew the words to their favorite songs. AND YES, I am "cool" all the time lol In fact, if I really need to, I can cool things off so much around here that it gets really chilly. LOL

As a teenager, I thought I was cool cuz I was a cheerleader who refused to snub others in the school just because they weren't in sports. I was friends with everyone.

I am hitting a milestone b-day this year (you'll have to guess which one) As a teen, it was cool to go cruising the one-way streets on Fri & Sat nights w/ your friends...If you weren't on the "1's" as we called it, you weren't "cool"

I can draw a mean stick person but really, I love to scrapbook & preserve my pics. It's my way of escaping at times.

I am living my dream now...I married my HS sweetie & have 2 beautiful daugthers who challenge me every day to be the best mom I can be. I am also fortunate enough to have the ability to be home and take care of the family...definitely something I always dreamed of!

The dream that I am still waiting on? There are 3 One is to take a cruise to Alaska since that is where I was born. I was only 1y/o when we moved from there. The other dream is to visit Ireland some day. And last but not least, be able to instill the desire of "paying it forward" in my girls. That they will always want to do good for others without expecting anything in return.

My favorite season is actually Fall because of the colors of the leaves, smells of barbeques, warm temps w/ little humidity, etc. It also means the kids will be going back to school.

I am married w/ 2 girls, 12 & 9

I like to dance when nobody is watching.

My HS prom was wonderful. I was with my hubby - he looked soooo handsome & I had my big poofy dress on...we were a good looking couple! (And still are!) After prom we went bowling until like 1am...A great night!!!

So, did I pass, is there an award for completing all of the questions?

Oh, How wonderful! What a life. Your real life is what a lot of us dream for. Born in Alaska. Wow. Can I go to Ireland with you? I always wanted to go there too.

Your high school years, dating and prom sounded so romantic. And I'm going to have to try to figure out that clue something about the #1. You gave us a clue. O.k. Now you others - anyone know what she is referring to there? If so, what year was she a teenager. And coomamma, thanks for sharing that wonderful bit of information with it! This is so much fun. Maybe when the others wake up in the morning they'll answer theirs. And of course, you could add a few people to the list with some questions that you think might be unique. So Coolmamma, throw some questions out there for some others that you can think of. Again thanks for sharing your storybook memories with us!! Kathy
