AngleBooze, If I was you, I'd get myself to an emergency room. What's happening to you doesn't sound right. I was experiencing the same kind of; not exactly pain but wierd feelings in the same areas and I went to the Dr at the clinic. He said I had GERD and gave me Nexium. A week later I'm still having this stomach pain and wierd feelings and weakness and dizziness etc, so I went to the Emergency Room. The Dr's there thought it was muscleskeletal pain but they did a blood test and they found my Troponin Levels were high. I never would have thought of what I had was a heart attack. I actually had no symptoms whatsoever except the wierd feeling in the pit of my stomach and discomfort in my shoulder,back and neck. I don't know what your insurance situation is but I feel it's better to be safe than sorry. When the Dr got my test results back (it only took an hour to do) he came into the exam room and looked at me and said, I never would have thought it but you are having a heart attack, I just looked at him and asked him: when? and he said: now, then I said: OK, and then they admitted me. The next day I was 65 miles away in a hospital I didn't know having a heart cath done and a stent implanted into my heart. We caught it in time before major damage was done. I'm not meaning to scare you or to tell you what to do but women don't get the same symptoms as men to and people with diabetes don't feel the pain the same way that other people do. (I have diabetes) I don't know why it is but that's what my Dr told me. Take care and please get some medical treatment. I'll check in with you tomorrow. Jan |
