I live in NE Ohio and we also had a long, hard, cold winter. It's the worst my fibro symptoms have ever been. I have spent most of the winter in bed with pain and fatigue. Not sure of the scientific reason for it, but I tend to do much better in the spring and summer with the warmer weather! Another bad thing about winter around here is that there are so many cold and flu viruses floating around everywhere you go -- especially at the doctor's offices -- and with my lousy immune system I seemed to catch them all this year, then would go into sinus infections for weeks which would make the fibro just terrible! The combiniation of warm weather and not as much sickness is something I've been looking forward to for a long long time! I finally saw our first crocuses in bloom today -- about a month later than normal. Last year they were blooming on February 28th! Welcome Emerald! my husband and I think that our pain from fibromyalgia would'nt be as bad if we lived in a warmer climate than michigan; this was a very cold winter and it was terrible for both of us. Please help us and tell us what you may know. thanx
