I tried one at the store! LOL...but no...I didn't buy it! I found a certain type of mattress that a family member had and it worked wonders for me...so I spent my money where I knew it would work! But I wish I could afford to try the sleep number cuz they're soo COOL!

Oh...HEY...WELCOME!! I'm glad you joined right in! Keep it up...you won't be sorry!

LOL I just posted about mine on the waterbed thread! I like it because I can have it soft when I need it to be and then also firmer when I need it to be.

My husband and I researched the sleep number beds. The cost was a major prohibitive factor...along with customers reviews which indicated they were only effective for folk's on the slimmer side

we have a good quality queen size bed and use a dual control electric blanket as both of us have fibromyalgia.

the weird thing is that we had a waterbed years before we got fibro, but we would like to think of all the possibilities; the other weird thing is if my husband doesn't take his low dose of Lyrica 50 mgs at bedtime he feels like he has been run over by a mule team in the morning. I think that there is emerging evidence that fibro is a nervous system disorder hence sleep is both effected and becomes paramount in importance. thnx emmy
