MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

Sign-ups forFamily Members Self-Help Online Course

Tuesday, September 11, 2007

FMOnline, vol. 7, no. 8

The CFIDS & Fibromyalgia Self-Help Program is now accepting sign-ups for the Fall session of our online course for family members and friends of people with CFS and/or fibromyalgia. The class will begin on September 24 and last four weeks. Registration ends September 20. The cost is $25.

The course offers information about CFS and fibromyalgia, as well as ideas for how class members can both help their loved one and take care of themselves. Because the course is conducted as an email discussion group, participants will also learn how other people in similar situations deal with the issues created by CFS and fibromyalgia.

Visit our website to learn more and to register.

The CFIDS and Fibromyalgia Self-Help program is a non-profit organization that has conducted more than 200 self-management classes since 1998. The course for family and friends is one of five online courses and groups we offer. [url]

I guess I missed out on this. Would you let me know when they have another class? Also, what are the other classes they offer? I went to a confrence for FM one year. It was shortly after I was diagnosed, I was looking up infomation about FM and saw the confrence coming up in my state so me and a friend of mine, (who also has FM) made reservations, got plane tickets, they reserved a room for us, and we spent the weekend there. They had a lot of different speakers. We haven't been able to find one since.
