I have a big problem with Lortab giving me strong cravings for junk food, especially sweets. I hate this, because, although the medication alleviates my pain so I can function, it makes me eat foods I don't even like! In fact, without the Lortab, I have to force myself to eat! During the last year, I have gained approximately 18 pounds and feel the weight makes my body hurt more. Please...any suggestions on how to conteract this craving cycle. The weird thing is...my pharmacist and my pain specialist said they have not heard of anyone having this problem...usually the complaint with Lortab is nausea, lack of appetite and weight loss! I worked very hard in 2000 to lose over 80 pounds, so I don't want to end up like that again. Thank God for the pain medication...I couldn't get up and do things without it....but if I keep gaining weight....I'm going to have worse problems. THANKS! DaniBelle |
