my neck hurts so badly tonight....i wanna scream and hide....but i have my boys to watch over.

Sometimes..most times...there is no time to hurt.

I don't know if that helps or not.

Sending out gentle hugs my friends.

I hear ya charmplace....and I am screaming.....with hubby out of town working, the only ones hearing me are my 2 cats.

Couldn't sleep last night because of my neck, I am hoping that tonight is better, but, to be honest, I don't think so....it was a little better today, but, now it is back....I am running out of ideas here...not sure if the screaming is helping either!

I am so sorry to hear your in such horrible pain. For me...I can handle me being in pain, better that someone I care about.I've been having a very hard time ...since Friday, its been agonizing pain and tiredness. No matter what I do,I get no relief. My doctor doesn't prescribe pain medicine. So,Im basically dealing with the pain cold turkey.I wonder sometimes if this will ever get better??
I am so scared that my husband will get tired of dealing with all my aches and pain...that he'll leave. Most of the time,I'm just either too tired or in too much pain for us to have alone time. What do you do about intimacy?

I wonder that too sometimes.

We have to think positively don't we? Isn't that half the battle?

charmplace, the neck pain is such a constant thing. I've found that the only thing that helps is lying flat on my back with my neck straight. Try it and see if it helps you (when you can find the time, that is. lol)

"CURAMIN" is a GREAT all natural anti-inflammatory and pain reliever. Maybe try that. YOu can get it at some health food stores or online at curamin.com

I always have the neck pain also. I think that with all of the pain this none exist disease causes that is why I try to Keep so busy that way I don't have to think about it or feel it. It doesn't work I walk like I have wooden legs, I always look tired and if one more person stops me and says boy do you look tired I think I will slap them no I well just smile and sa really i thought I was looking good today. I do soak my neck in a warm heated neck warmer and that helps for awhile. I hope it's better for you today . Take care. Jean the slow moving goddess

I hope your neck pain eases up some. I have it 24/7 and sometimes I use a pain relieving gel or cream. The unscented ones of course. This fibro is a constant battle and I have had no relief in over a year now. My Dr, just took me off tramadol so that I can start an antidepressant called fluoxetine. The meds don't mix and he says he doesn't think the meds do all that much anyway and would rather I was on the depression meds at this point. So I will find out .
