I don't think "red flagged" necessarily means that you won't be able to get scripts anymore. I think it's just a warning sign to the doctors, pharmacy, and insurance company to keep a "watch" on you and what's happening. You'll be okay with the med thing. Try not to worry.

You will be able to get any script filled, but it might just be a little more difficult to get pain meds. I know I have been to the hospital allot in the past year for antibiotics and sometimes pain meds.

I'm actually getting ready to go here in just a little bit. I have a terrible headache and feel nauseated and and my temples in my head don't feel right and my vision is a little foggy.I want to make sure everything is ok. I also havn't had much sleep in the past couple of nights due to pain and I'm over it. I have a pain clinic app. for the 28th and it will be my first visit with them so I havn't signed any contract with them yet so I hope this is ok.

I don't know if the hospital will give me anything or not because the last time I went there I was in allot of pain, so much so that my blood pressure was sky high and they didn't give me anything.I fihure the least they can do is a cat scan and make sure everything is ok, but I totally need something for my pain.

When we used to have a patient come into the ED and then return one day or two days later, the red flag would be raised that this person is a drug seeker. The fact that fibro is one of those pains that cannot be proven by tests or xrays, creates more problems for us. The best and only solution is to try to find a physician or pain clinic that can work with you to manage your pain. This may have to begin at the beginning with a primary care physician that may not be comfortable prescribing pain medication or you may get lucky. Then go to where the physician suggests you go for pain management: pain clinic, rheumatologist, neurologist, or wherever. This may be a runaround, but it may be the only way. I was fortunate, my primary physician prescribed my pain meds originally, but as time went on and the neurologist and he felt there was more there then they could manage, they refered me to pain management where I now receive my pain meds. I am under contract not to get any narcotics from any other source but them. I have to have a urine tests before each prescription refill. If I try a narcotic which does not work for me, for instance fentanyl patches--I can return them to the pain clinic for disposal and it is marked on my chart. This way, I am closely monitored for dependency which was a primary concern of mine. I completely understand exactly where you are. I think if you look back I may have been one of your friends that suggested you go to urgent care or the ED to help with your pain--but we have to find something else to help you. I hope some of this may help you. My main concern is that you get help for your pain, because no one should have to live with pain.

If I can help you, please PM me or let me know. I want to help.

Please do not be scared. You have done nothing wrong. You have pain. You went to urgent care because you do not currently have a doctor or the doctor you currently have will not help you with your pain so you are leaving his practice----Which is your right!!!!!

You got prescriptions for pain. You got them filled. You paid for them. You picked them up. You took them for pain. What is wrong with that.

How long was it between visits to the urgent care?

How many pills did you get each time?
