Thanks everyone for your replies! I am still waiting for the nero to call me back. I do think I have fibro unfortunately. It makes way to much sense to me for all the symptoms that I have. What helps the pain in your shoulders? what helps the burning to go away? I take anexia for my migraines but it didn't help the shoulders or burning. (I took the pain pill because I had a migraine) (I was in hope it would help that as well)

Anyway my friends have said they have noticed me getting sicker more and more. Is this going to get even worse? I hope not! I think my nero was kind of thinking that that is what I have since the last time I went there she was thinking about trying me on Lyrica. I wish she would have told me though! I hate this guessing game.

? for everyone....How did your symptoms first start out and where are they now. Were they gradual?

Lisa

I think I have had fibro longer then I can remember. back in high school I started with back pain, legs burning, and I got lots of migraines. It just keep getting worse. It just seemed like every time I went to the doc, they told me something else was wrong with me. finally in 1997 they told me I had fibro. I had never heard of it and did not know what to do. I have been dealing ever since.

Do you ever get this burning and weird creepy crawly feeling that goes up and down your spine? It kind of feels like bugs crawling up and down the spinal cord. Of course my doc looks at me like I am nuts when I tell him this one............

Ok the Nero office just called back and they are going to call in Nerontin. I know a lot of you all have tried this! So what am I in for.........Just wondering? Then I told the nurse that I was getting low on my fiorecet and she told me it is way too soon. I told her I have 5 pills left. I was told to take them as soon as I feel a migraine coming on. Which of course I can only use them on a pain level of 4 or less. Anything higher then I need to take my other med. Well what am I supposed to do. She said I should limit my self!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!!!! Do I say ok today I need to have a really bad migraine and tommarrow I won't! hOPEFULLY THIS nERONTIN HELPS AND THEN i WON'T HAVE AS MANY MIGRAINES. Opps sorry I hit the caps button. Ohhh well! You all know what I mean. LOL I wish I would have put it to her like that. Why do I think of things after the fact. I hope I am not in for another disappointment with trying another medicine.

When I am sitting too long or especially while driving the back of my thighs feel like they are on fire. I didn't realize that this was part of the fibro and have never brought it up with my doctor.

I see a holistic doc in Cincinnati and he uses so many things but I have not found relief yet. Are we allowed to ask about who uses what docs in our areas? If so, does anybody have a good rheumie or whatever around the Cinncinati area. I live in Blanchester by Clarksville and Wilmington.

If we are not allowed to ask this please disregard and please don't kick me off, just let me know.

Thanks

Sandra Dee

Hi...Sure we can talk about our doctors and our experiences...

It would be nice not to bad mouth any doctors but ....

If you want to know about a doctor ask...or who is seeing doctors in what area...
