i'm having surgery on monday morning. i've never had surgery before. i'm a little nervous about how fms will affect my recovery. my dr didn't really seem too concerned. according to him i'll bounce right back!

something tells me that won't quite be the case. especially since i've been hurting so much i really have to convince myself curling up in a ball & not doing anything isn't good for me! "motor-vate", girl!! lol!

any info would be appreciated!

Good luck on a speedy recovery. I really hope you don't have to deal with alot of pain. Try to get your bed area ready so you don't have to get have to get up that much (you know, only to go to the bathroom and get food). Get a few bottles of waters for the bedside, kleenx, pens, crossword puzzzle book, magazines, cards, a few pairs of warm socks, pills, lotion, phone, date book, hairclip, brush, face wipes, nail polish...I could go on obviously. I'm looking at the side of my bed. And I'm not having surgery. Oh, and saltines in case your stomach feels funny.

Take care

Good luck with your surgery! I will be thinking of you. Be patient during your recovery. My experience with surgery and fibro is that we don't bounce back as quick as we think we should......
