Yep thats what I was told too. The psychologist said he knew it the minute I started talking. I have a high school education with some vocational classes and a little college. But somehow at jobs, I always end up being promoted to a supervisory or management position fairly quickly as I take charge. Actually my disability advocate said this will help my case as I have a really good work history with a high work ethic and I would rather be working than sitting at home collecting disability.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice, I am not a doctor. What I post is my opinion only.

I really have no idea what caused mine. I suffered physical abuse from my first husband until I was 21. again for maybe a year when I was 30, lost my Mom when she was only 63 which was very traumatic, that was 98 and had an accident at work in 2004 which they say was overuse syndrome , then in 2005 I had a hysterectomy and bladder repair plus I am always stressed. So I figure maybe it's the combination of things. I had remarried and divorced in 93. Life is tough and I don't think they have any idea exactly what causes it.All I know is that I have it and it's horrible.

My fibro is a result of work injuries to my neck & back. Unfortunately, I never fully recovered from them like I was supposed to. Although, I am grateful for it in a way cuz I would have never met all of you if I didn't have the fibro.
