 I just woke up from being sound asleep with terrible pain in my private areas. I have heard of IBS being associated with FM but I never dreamed the pain could feel like this. From my navel down I feel like I am being stuck with knife and so much pressure...what can I do?

 You could try lying on your Left side and put a heating pad on your back or between the legs. This works for my daughter who gets severe cramps. Take pain meds if you have them, maybe a warm bath would help. If nothing works and the pain does not get better, go to the hospital. I am new to FM and have not heard about this but I have noticed that Lyrica messes with a womans cycle.

You need a hug .... hope you feel better.

 thanks. It is some better I did go back to sleep with the help of meds and a heating pad. odd thing is its not time for my cycle. I hope this isnt the after effect of intercourse, that is the only thing I could think of that was making me hurt so bad. Thanks again for the hug I needed that.
