I try to use simple recipes and the crockpot. It makes it so much easier. We have to eat healthy. we have too many health issues not too.

I too have the arm pain and the 'too heavy to hold them up" feeling. Nobody has mentioned how hard it is to fix your hair when you can't hold your arms up for more than a few minutes because they hurt so bad.

Its strange how some things I can pick up and some I can't, It must have something to do with the size and shape of things. Kaze

Hi all!

I too have a hard time doing anything that puts even a little stress in my arms and hand. In between doing my hair I have to keep resting my arms. I can't even use a electric knife it's so painful.

What I really wonder about, since many with fibro have this happening to them, WHY is it happening?? I mean, in our bodys what's going on and then it leads to WHY do we have fibro and they can't figure it out??

Spruce, the carpel tunnel must have something to do with the nervous system. Im not sure and I know there are people on site that has a better understanding. Maybe we will get some feed back. I get the news letters from Fibromyalgia Network every month and they explain things really well but for me to repeat it I would have it all messed up. I feel they are getting closer all the time figuring out whats going on Stay Strong, Kaze

Hi, I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists! I have all these same problems too. Opening up a tight lid on a jar is impossible, the twisting and squeezing needed kills me. MY son has to do it for me. Fixing your hair is another really hard thing Mainaiec! I have long hair and a lot of it. I used to have it shorter, but thought I would grow it out one more time. I have to try to blow dry it some, or it would still be wet in the morning (lots of breaks or have to get daughter to help)! I am probably going to have to cut it off. I think it may also be making my headaches worse because of the weight of it. Does holding the steering wheel when you are driving bother you? Mine wear out quickly. Kaze, I hope they do come up with some answers soon.

Hi ya all,

I have to clear up about my pain in the hands and arms. I don't have carpel tunnel. That's why it's so wierd. I thought that it was coming from my neck trouble but that was ruled out and I had several nerve tests and they were normal. It started in the one hand...tingling and numbness and pain then it went up my arm and then it started all over with the other side of my body. Anyone else have this problem without carpel tunnel?
