Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm-Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

I love massages! They do hurt, but water cleanses all those toxins that they rub out of your muscles right out of your body! So drink up, babee!!

I just turned 37...I'm married and have an 'almost' 18 year old daughter!

I loved it when I had massage therapy 3x a week. It really helped with the muscel knots that I get. there were times when I would fall asleep, they would just let me sleep as long as they could. it just felt so good.

Massages....hmm....well, I love em' and I hate em'!

(I'm 40, married with kids.)

I get a massage at least once a month. I almost always have to remind her to 'let up' a little. Even then, sometimes I will still hurt a lot the next day. Especially in my most tenderest body parts.

You will learn how much pressure your body will take. Just don't be afraid to tell your massage therapist to let up, if you feel they should. And definitely drink water! Water! Water! Water!

Hang in there. Get another one sometime and follow everyone's advice. Hopefully, it will be a better experience.

Oh I loooove massages! Take me along next time! My massage therapist is what I call my "sugar daddy". He's a guy that my husband knows. He is very professional and very good at what he does. His hands are nice and big, not to mention that he is strong so he can handle my knots better than anyone else I know. No really, he's a great guy that is like a big teddy bear.

But really, drink a ton of water any time you get a massage. It helps clear the toxins that have been released, but also will help reduce the soreness.

all this talk about massages..I think I need to make a call to get one for myself.

My doctor has prescribed myotherapy as a part of my treatment. His clinic includes physiotherapists who specialize in this trigger point therapy. It's a deep massage concentrating only on the trigger points and tender points on the body, also stretching exercises. I've been on this for the past 6 weeks everyday (almost) and find that it has helped greatly, though slowly. After the first month, i had tremendous relief with a coupla really painful spots i'd had for years! The treatment continues, they slowly incorporating some strengthening exercises. They've treated many patients this way (i'm also on Lyrica, only 75mg a day) and say that they'll help get the pain level down to about a 2 or 3 on a 10 scale and i can maintain that level with exercise and stretching.
