Hi all my fibro friends. I am so glad I found this group. It has helped me a lot.

Here is my just for laughs.

FIBRO fog is the worst today.

I went on line and pulled up my medical bill history to update it. I just paid some bills the other day but couldn't remember which ones so I went to the kitchen to get my check book. While I was there, I washed the dishes left by my husband, put some chicken breasts in the oven, swept the kitchen floor, took my cat out for a little while, emptied the dishwasher of the dishes washed last Saturday, cleaned the refrigerator cause tomorrow is trash day. Got me a bottle of water and went back to the computer room where I saw my spreadsheet up. So I went back to get my check book, found my Easter rabbit, ate some of the rabbit and then remembered that the check book for paying medical bills was in my bedroom all along. So I went to the bedroom and got my check book and updated the spreadsheet. Now that wasn't so bad was it? The funny thing is I can't remember why my discover card is sitting in front of the computer?

You must have bought me a Happy Spring present! LOL

I wonder just how many more footsteps we take in fog mode than those without FM or fog?

I can't wait to see my present, I hope it is new flower or herb plants. hehe!

We need to invent a special FM pedometer.... that or just wear a normal one everyday. On higher count days we would have "proof" of our fogginess by being able to give it a number!

Here's another true story that happened to me back in 1984. I lived in Reston Virginia at the time. Me and my husband at that time had just moved into the area in March of 1984. My sister and her family came to visit Aunt Janny and Uncle Mike in October as they usually did. My niece Kelly has just turned three years old. We all got our coats on because we were going to the pumpkin patch to get the girls a pumpkin. Kelly went out of the apartment first and I went out to watch her. I was at the bottom of the steps and she had already made her way up to the landing. I had heard a door open in one of the other apartments so I called to her to wait where she was and not go outside. All of a sudden there came the loudest scream a 3 year old could let loose. She tried her best to come down the stairs fast in that awkward 3yr old way. All of a sudden she let out a big " Run Aunt Janny run, its King Kong."

It turned out to be our neighbors from Jamaica. Kelly had never seen a person that dark before. I went up to see who king kong was and there he and his wife sat on the stairs uncontrollably laughing their heads off. He said he's been called a lot of things in his life time but never King Kong. I took Kelly to meet King Kong. He fell in love with her that night. Every once in a while I'll think of that story and just bust out laughing. If you could only have seen the look on her face when she first saw him.

If we are telling kid stories:

My two bottom children are 12 months apart. I was a single mother and I stayed up all day until my mother got off at 5:30 and then after dinner I would lay down for an hour or 2 before I worked night shift again. I was always tired. Anyway Claire who was 2 and Spencer who was one were tinkering around the house one morning while Laura who was 7 was kind of helping me keep and eye on them and Claire came in and said to me "We found chocholate candy, we found chocolate candy!!!" and I was so tired, I opened one eye and said go ahead and eat it. Well,,,,,,,,,,,Claire had exlax,------She pooped and she pooped and he pooped and he pooped and every time he bent over he pooped up the wall and down his leg. There was poop everywhere. One time Spencer bent over and poop squirted out and he said "Oh ne, Chair, not again." Finally I put them in the bathtub and put toys in there and just kept changing the water. Anyway, I learned to pay attention to what they showed me when they were going to eat it.

I have lots of Claire and Spencer stories-- they did everything from eat the exlas to drown the cat....(almost) Sandi

That is so funny. I can just imagine what the chocolate mess was like.

Anykind of funny story you want can be posted here. As long as you can laugh, the pain can be kept at bay even if for a little while.

Laughter is the best medicine.
