MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Rest, sleep, pain meds, a warm soak in the tub, getting under the electric blanket,

Pain pills, muscle relaxers, antianxiety meds, warm warm bath with epsom salts, resting in my bed on my heated mattress pad and sometimes under the electric blanket, massages from dh when I can get them and from a pro when I can afford them, soothing music, snuggling next to my two furry dogs, and sometimes reading can take my mind off the pain.

Also, watching comedy with a good friend (or by yourself so you can laugh as loud as you want), reading w/ my girls, seeing my friend's baby, listening to relaxation cds, and of course those professional massages (which I am due for one).

I had a terrible flare up on Easter. I've never been in this much pain before with the fibro. It hit me every where even my feet. Only thing that helps me is crawling under the covers and trying to get into a postion that is comfortable for me and watching my favorite movie and perhaps falling asleep.
May your troubles be less, Your blessings be more. And nothing but happiness come through your door!
