I'm an Advocate

I will be in and out the next several days, weeks, whatever.

I've asked for prayers for my dad that is dying from cancer. He had a MRI, and the cancer is now on his brain. He will take 10 days of radiation (to keep the tumor from growing fast). Doesn't make since to me, but after those ten days - if he makes it, Hospice will come in. His doctor told him he has days, maybe a week or two. And I can't believe the way his doctor told him, "He said, Ray, the end is here, there's not anything more that we can do.

So if he makes the 10 days, hospice comes in, I'm gone to Louisiana. I will be there until he dies. I can use all the happy encouraging words you have to say. I'll be in touch when I can be. I do know I will be here the next couple of days, and I can use all the prayers, now, please.

I'll try to keep you posted. And, pray for me. Fibro.

Kathy, please know that I will have you in my thoughts and daily prayers as you struggle through the next couple of weeks.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

I am just like you and I am on MDJ for support and true friendship. Please, always consult with your doctor about medical advice and medication, never take one's opinion regarding your most precious asset which is your life.
