Welcome to the group, my name is Sandi. We had a long discussion on this subject this morning. It is unfortunate that you had that experience today. Many fibro sufferers have also had that experience. I hope that you were able to get something for your pain. That is the most important thing. When you feel bad about the way you are being treated always remember that the first thing the healthcare professional is taught is that PAIN IS WHAT THE PATIENT SAYS IT IS. This means it is not what the xray says, it is not what the doctor or nurse thinks, it is what you-the patient thinks and it is not unheard of for them to benefit from being reminded of this. I am so sore and frustrated I was totally un validated by an on call doctor today. He made me feel like a drug seeker and that my pain is not real because you cant see it on an x-ray.
