I have read in a homeopathic medical book about fibromyalgia and it states; avoid caffine, sugar and alchol. Add light exercise and eat a light salt diet.

I have been following this for 2 weeks and feel amazingly better! Not 1oo%, but about %75. I don't have the jimmy legs at night either. Its almost worth giving up the coffee and candy everyday. Thought I would share..... good luck.

Did you ever have one of those ionized foot treatments? I might not be calling it the right thing. I had one a couple of weeks ago and was shocked at the goop that they say comes out of your body including metalic pieces. I had accupuncture and I loved it but insurance didn't pay and I couldn't afford it anymore.

I also had a work up where she tested my energy in response to certain vitamins and supplements and I started on them. I am anxious to see if it works.

They sell those things now....... you can get them from a TV ad....

I was told that doing the DETOXe without taking care of our liver and kidneys is about as bad as not doing it at all......

because when you are detoxing you load your kidneys and liver with all the poisions.... and you are asking them to do tons of work....... it hurts them ..... and they are not able to handle the extra load....

Hi Fletch2ya, I was wondering what you mean by what you mentioned

"I was told that doing the DETOXe without taking care of our liver and kidneys is about as bad as not doing it at all......"

how should one take care of liver and kidneys?

Has anyone here tried those foot things that are supose to take all your toxins out? I saw them on tv and thought no way, how could they work?

Bella,

Basically you just need to cleanse the liver and kidneys. There are different things you can do, and lots of herbs/spices you can use on food. Just google Liver Detoxing and lots of options will come up for you.

Well I guess what I meant was you hve to give your liver and kidneys things that support them.....

to help my liver detox I take Livaplex...for my kidneys I take..Arginex........ they help them and support them for detox...

as I was told.....I am no expert here....I am just following the directions the Dr told me.......

But I do understand if you clean out the body and its filtered by the liver and Kidney you have to do something to help them...so they do not get over loaded and cause you more problems.....

As in dumping to much bad stuff in your intestines and having it be re-aborbed back into you blood stream so you have to use some thing that will hasten your intestines to get rid of it quicker...like Cholacol II ....

thank you, I feel that with the right diet and exercise, I am not confined to this illness. I am so tired of people thinking I am a hypocondriac. I know I have this pain, I wish I didn't. When were you diagnosed, and did you have a traumatic injury before you were?

Thank you Craig,

I think I may try to ask my Dr. if I can handle a detox since I have kidney problems already, Did you talk to yur reg.Doc? they oftenseem to not know much about these things, or do you see a holistic Dr.?
