I am so exhausted tonight that I literally could not walk up my steps to my bedroom without assistance. I have been laying on the couch for hours, virtually paralyzed with fatigue until dh came home.

I am not sure if it is my fibro or my heart problems. I am going to go take my pills and see if I can fall asleep. I hate these diseases.

Debbi,

i hope you start to feel better soon and more importantly I hope It is not your heart. there must be something in the air because I'm having a horrible flare myself today. This is how I would normally feel if rain was coming but there was none today and none in the forcast. take care i'm glad dh is home with you now. If youhave any serious thoughts it's your heart please do not ignore it. we have all come to like your heart alot here and don't want to see it hurting.

Karen

I will be praying for you to get some restorative rest! I really hope that you aren't having problems with your heart, but if you are I hope you take it seriously and seek the help you need. With love, coolmamma

I was wondering if these "spring flare" relates to this sudden onset of allergy problems that came along after my diagnosis with FM. I've never had allergies in my life, but last year, that's all there was to explain what was going on... itchy eyes, nasal drip, etc. I think most of us agree that the fibro body responds to illnesses and such in weird, cooky, ways... just wondered if maybe all the pollen and other allergens effect us differently and cause a flare in our symptoms. Anyone else ever see a relation?

Thank you all for your kind and loving responses! I did get a decent nights sleep and feel better today. I am like you, Snoopy, I start flaring when it is going to rain, and it is here today. YUK!

TammyNC I didnt ever have allergies either but I do now! It does seem that certain weather does make me feel bad or good. If the weather changes a lot from cold to warmish back to cold then warm, I am a mess.

Thanks again for all of your wonderful responses. I love this board and all of my new friends!

Debbi

I know the weather affects me. I had one dr. tell me not to let the weather dictate how I feel. I can get over it if I just set my mind to it. As you can tell she didn't have fibro. Weather changes always make me feel worse. I also have allergies and they seem to be getting worse as I get older.

The weather effects me too. I feel the best in the summer when it stays warmer and isn't so damp out. Ahhhh I can feel the sunshine now....just hope I don't get burnt. LOL
