My hands and fingers hurt too. I have been wondering why the pain is happening but i guess since all of you have it also that means its part of the fibro.

I used to be a medical transcriptionist before i had to quit in aug 06 because of the fibro and used to type over 1,000 lines a day but i know i cant do that now.

Hugs, Alicia

Ok, does the copper bracelet have to fit close up against your wrist or can it be a copper chain that kind of hangs loose?

I've been wearing copper bracelets for years on both wrists. I don't remember when I started, but decided to give it a try, and I don't even take them off to shower.

I will say I have very little pain in my hands. People ask me if they help. I say, darned if I know, but I'm not taking them off just to find out!

Indianajo.....mine are chains that hang loose. I can't wear watches because they bother me. It's not painful, just don't like the constriction. If you get chains, be careful with the latches if they're copper. Copper is very soft and I've "lost" one or the other a time or two, and thankfully, found them. Check them occasionally and if they get loose, take pliers and squeeze them back so the latches or connecting links fit tight again.

Trudy....I've never had my skin or the copper turn green. ???

Like Suzee, I'd love to know if copper helps others! Maybe I'll try to find some that would fit my fat ankles! .......hype

I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and that's what you have just described to me.Testing for it is very uncomfortable. They put needles into you nerves and send electric shocks through them. From your shoulder down to the flesh of your palm

Thanks, hype! Now I know probably any kind will help.

And yes, copper can turn your skin green. ANY metal can depending on your own personal chemistry.

as i type this with my wrist braces on. YES i have alot of pain in my wrists and hands. I also have carpel tunnel and some days like today the pain is excruciating I couldn't even unscrew th cap of my water bottle tonight. If copper seems to help I'm game. I can't stand it when I get likethis and nothing else works.
