Hey everyone...I am having such horrible eye problems. They started a year and 1/2 ago.The symptoms started mainly in my right eye.It started with a weak feeling in that eye like muscle weakness or something. It has never gone away and now I always have a constant feeling of something being in my eyes and I rub them alot and I get really blurred vision .I feel like both of my eyes are doing 2 different things.I am extremely sensitive to the sun and have even on occasion went colored blind(kinda) in the one eye .I can see the color in both eyes but one eye is dull and the other bright.Went to eye doc and had 20/20 and she chalked it up to fatigue.Does anybody have these problems? It drives me nuts!!!thanks,Hope

as far as the color blind thing goes,it would usually last about 10 minutes.I cant remember if I had a headache at the times it happened but my guess would be yes since I seem to suffer from headaches about 15 days out of the month so possibly.I cant remember if other things happened but I always have the normal fibro pain/symptoms.If you mention something it might ring a bell. Thanks

I have been diagnosed with optic migraines. The first time this happened I was in a restaurant eating dinner and all of the sudden I got a headache. It was very sudden. I told my daughter I was sick and I made it to the door of the restaurant and as I opened the door it was as if I stepped out in time. I was in the twi-light zone. I could only see the outlines of peoples faces and the outlines of cars. I could only see black and white. My head really didn't hurt that bad. It lasted approx 20min and then I was tired but okay. I have had two since then. I went for ane eye exam with a specialist and my eyes are fine. He called them OPTIC MIGRAIMES he said they were migraines that were coming from the optic nerve. Does any of this sound familiar?

I don't know about you but I have Optic neuralgia and trigeminal neuralgia and TMJ so I have alot of things going on on the right side of my head and face. I would ask about the definitely ask you doc about the temple tingling. Do you keep track of when they happen and what you are doing. Why did the eye doctor think you were having visual disturbances. This doesn't sounds normal. Did you ever have a c-scan?

I had a whiplash injury 1/5/06. I started with problems with my neck on the right side. Then I developed migraines which lasted for months. They were always on the right. Then my right eye started to hurt. Somedays it hurt so bad I wished I could just take it out. My face droops on the right side when I am tired. Occipital neuralgia is neuralgia of the occipial nerve. It acts like any other kind of neuragia with achiness and pain. I have spasms which run up the back of my neck and come out the right side of my face. Trigeminal neuralgia is the nerve that runs up ypur face by your ear and along your cheek. I have the same symptoms with that. Only it has sharp shooting pain that can actually bring you to your knees. I can only open my mouth a little bit. Don't let physicians blame stuff on fatigue. If you think there is something wrong----keep searching.
