I have a pain in my abdomen that I can't pin point. It hurts to stand up straight, sit, lie down, it just hurts...I'm in tears, I just took a vicodin and am hoping it kicks in fast but I am hoping you guys could talk me through the pain.

is it your appendix on your right side? or more left side?

It's right in the middle feels like a line of pain right down the middle...like a wire is being pulled tight

If this continues seriously consider going to the hospital... or calling your doctor...do you have a fever with it?

Casty honey, are you still having the pain? How intense is it? Does your doctor's office have someone on call? If not, I would probably go to the er. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please let us know.

no fever...I do however feel like I wanna vomit. That happens sometimes because of severe pain.

It could be your gallbladder honey. I had this kind of pain before. It was excruciating pain nothing really helped. It was accompanied by nausea. It also happens once in awhile. I got blood work done and a HIDA scan which showed it was my gallbladder. You need to call your doc or go to the ER honey.

I know you don't want to hear this but I really don't want to go to the ER. I was just there a few weeks ago with shortness of breath and if you go too much, well you know the story.

I am hoping it's because I' ve been doing so much cleaning and I strained something.

It's still there but not as intense as when I first posted. I am terrified to eat tho. I had an omelet this morning and that was it...the only other thing I have had since is water and vitamin water and only a few sips of that because I'm nauseous.

my gallbladder was removed about 10 years ago but you know what...now that you mention it it does feel like that. I knew I had felt this before but couldn't pinpoint what and when.
