I was just recently diagnosed with a bad case of dry mouth.I was told it was from my meds. I found that there are lots of meds that cause it and left untreated can cause gum disease, etc. I found there are things to help it like Biotene toothpaste, Oasis mouthwash for dry mouth,Oasis mouth spray. Hard sugarfree candy and gum are good to use also. Thought Id share since anti-depresants, neurontin, nsaids, muscle reaxants and many other meds can cause this. I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery,music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive. |
