Hello,

I really don't know exactly what my ailment is, yet, but it all started about 9 months ago about the same time my Dr. changed my blood pressure meds from cadura to toporal. I have a shaking or vibrating sensation that can be most anywhere in my body including my arms and hands, legs and feet or even my face and neck. Sometimes it seems like a buzzing without the sound or like bacon frying or sizzling with no sound..so strange. I notice it more when trying to relax or go to sleep. I have no pain with it but I do have some muscle and joint stiffness and soreness that I blame on arthritis. I don't know if this may be related or not. I do alot of work on the computer and my Dr. suggested that I take breaks every few hours and 15 minute walks. He thinks my symptoms may be triggered by sitting long periods of time that may cause too much pressure against my spine. I have tried doing this but it seems to be getting more intense as time goes on. I am 62 and need to lose about 40 pounds so these factors could very well be part of the problem. I would appreciate hearing from any one that would care to share their thoughts with me. Thank you so much for listening. Gail

Could you tell me if there is normally pain with fibro? I was thinking that my inner shaking symptoms were similar to several that I read about in this support group, especially the one that described symptoms to that of sitting in an idling automobile. Thanks again for all the concern. Hopefully, it will just go away! Best to all of you, also!

Hi! Toprol can have some bizarre side effects. I would see about adjusting your dosage. I am on it for heart problems.

Yes it can be an evil evil drug. It actually makes me feel like a zombie so I admit I do not take it like I should.
