Has anyone had pain in their toenails? Lately, my toenails feel like they are on too tight. Does that make sense? I have clipped them back so far that I can't do it any more. But the nails still feel like they are too tight. Am I strange, or what?

Now my hands, are strange too. The last few days they seem to be always cold. Mostly just the left one. When it is cold it gets to looking like it has been in water. You know all wrinkly like? This coldness happens even when the rest of my body is warm. My right hand gets that way sometimes but usually just the left. AND I am left handed.

OK so 2 nutty questions but I don't know where else to ask.

Can I ask another question while I am at it?

My left elbow/arm hurt, almost constantly. They especially hurt when I extend the arm to reach for something. Nothing seems to help with the pain except vicodin and I hate to take that just for an arm pain. I have tried heat, ice packs, mineral ice, and elevating it. and try not to do anything for too long.

And how do yo know when it is time to go the doctor?

OK that is it. Sorry I put so many things in one post.

God bless you all.

Trudy

Hello Trudy, and welcome.

No, you are not strange, at least I can say that, I have had both the toenail problem and the hands for quite awhile now. I have spoken to my nurse practioner and doctor about it, and they weren't too worried about it, so I just chalked it up to the Fibro, you know! I thought I was the only one who had those problems. And, I am left-handed too.

The arm issue, I am sure someone else can give you some advice on that one.

Lorna

I don't have the symptoms you describe but I do have stiff and sore hands and feet every morning and it makes it difficult to use them. My feet feel like I am walking on stones and I hobble when I first get up. After an hour or so, it all improves.

As for the cold hands and feet - I have always hated the winters for several years as I feel like I don't thaw out until summer as they hurt because they are so cold. I was ready to wear gloves in the house even but hard to do when you type for work. LOL I started mangosteen juice and my circulation apparently improved as this is the first winter I haven't suffered with cold hands and feet! However, the cold air makes me ache all over when I get hit with it just by opening the door to let one of my little dogs outside to go potty.
