I have noticed that I get very very warm after minimal physical activity, I'm always dressing in layers so I can take off a sweater, and my feet and hands are almost always cold, but I am never running a fever, even thought thats the feeling I have. For those of you that notice the problems regulating body temp, is it just a perceived change in body temp or is it accompanied by a quantitative change in your body tempurature as well. Just curious.

I also dress in layers of clothing, even when I am in my home at 70 degrees. And I also stick one leg or foot out from underneath the covers to regulate my body temperature. I am always cold until I go to sleep and I sweat. I will sweat even if I am only wearing a nightgown and with no covers on. Does anyone else sweat horribly while sleeping?

yes I sweat horribly especially when sleeping. before I had the Fibro. I was always cold. At work I always had on a jacket of somekind or sweater. At night my husband always keeps a fan on and I would have the civers up to my neck. Now I'm always hot even when the office temp is set at 74. I can't wear sweaters or anything like that and yes I keep one foot out from the covers to stay comfortable at night.

I always have to wear a tea shirt with a sweater over it during the day and I am constantly taking it off and putting it back on again. And in the car, I have the heat on, then off, then back on again. Sometimes I even put the window down when it is 30 degrees her. Thank God my husband isn't in the car with me that often or he would be freaking out.

Hi. I also wear layers. Not to keep me warm but so that I can undress during work. I feel sorry for the girls in my office and in the winter windows are opened and then closed constantly. I sometimes use the heater on low with the passenger window down while I am driving. Works great for temp control. I found that at night I have to have at least one barefoot out from under the covers. Must be a fibro thing.

Gentle Hugs

apparently this foot out of the covers is a trend. I think your right jelli must be one of the many "fibro" things. all over the world the are fibro patients with one foot out of the covers. hey maybe that can be a new test for diagnosing us. Do you have at least 11 tender points and sleep with one foot out of the covers? then you must have fibro. what do you think?

Sounds great (foot out of the covers & trigger points). I needed a smile. My doctor would love it.
