I have a problem with my hands burning to the touch. Just super hot... I DO soak them in ice water.. or water cooler, or whatever I am around.

And thank you Ted, I will be referring to that healthiest foods list.

I dont get hot but I stay cold all the time. Especially when its cold outside or in the house. My mom keeps its pretty cold in house so I have to bundle up and wear socks. Sometimes I get where I get hot w/ the covers on but cold when they are off. Its usally just a top sheet and I have to stick a leg out to get a balance. Is that wierd?

Pain medication often has that side effect. I think it goes along with all the other side effects, such as drowsiness, fatigue, and dopey feeling. I get hot in my office after I take 4 mg of Dilaudid. I don't think it's abnormal at all.

Do they help you at all?

My hands and feet, in cold times either b/c of weather or a/c, turn to blocks of ice. I've touched people before with my freezing fingers and they wonder how I'm still living, ha, I mean to be that cold that I send chills through others through touch is just crazy. It's not very comfortable either, there are times when I get so cold, it's like I'm freezing to the bone and no amount of clothes or blankets warms me up.

Yep thats how it is for me too. Once I warm up though I'm too hot so I have to stick a foot out from the covers.

Oh for sure, I don't even like to be without covers in the summer even if it's hot. I'd rather have the air on and have my feet cool. It's like my feet are my body's temperature regulator.

I definently agree. If I dont have socks on I'm really cold. If my feet are cold I'm cold if my feet are hot I'm hot.

I can tell that my body has changed over time, wonder if it's b/c of Fibro, hmmmmm, I'm gonna have to think on that one. A few years ago, you couldn't catch me in Flip Flops in the summer, I hated them! I was always the one with the newest, cutest shoes with socks, no matter how hot it was outside. It didn't seem to bother me, but now, I wouldn't be caught dead in tennis shoes and socks in the summer, I'd be sweating too bad! Crazy the way that our bodies work. I've taken enough pills to knock a small army out, I pass out for 15 minutes then wake up wide awake! No good considering I start a new job in the morning, darn it! Whoops, off topic, LOL, this is about body temp....hahhah
