MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is somewhere i feel safe i feel i can be myself and not be judged. I love the fact that i get to see that im not alone in what i am going through and i also get the chance to help others on their journey through guidance and communication.
I would truly be lost without MDJunction... to me its my savior, my personal place to go where i don’t feel so alone anymore in the world.

OK. So I've been diagnosed with FMS since '99, and when I was diagnosed the thought was that FMS was caused by an emotional or physical trauma. It was such a new diagnosis that many doctors at that time didnt even accept it as an actual problem and thought it was "all in our heads" and nothing was really wrong.

Well for a number of years I havent seen a doctor for my FMS, and havent read too much about it(although I should have)... but I have read a few articles lately... One article says nobody knows the cause of FMS, one says the traumas are the cause, one says its genetic, another cause is from certain illnesses....

Does anyone have a REAL answer? I'm sure there are people on here so much more knowledgeable than myself or any of my doctors. I find it so frustrating to have this problem, and not have anything definative to link it to!

Anyone have some insight?
