I would just like to say hello, and get familiar with the site. I just went through a really tough bout for 5 months. I don't think there was a symptom that didn't hit this time includeing the fact that I couldn't walk for about 3 days. But I am finally able to sit at the computer for more than 5 minutes at a time. I hope to get lots of feed back and give lots of feed back so I won't be so negative around my family and friends. Not that I will be negative with everyone here but I just think you you will understand much more and will be more tolerable OK, done with the intro...Hope to meet everyone soon. Kaze

Hi, I'm fairly new (only a few months), but apparently just became a community leader. I must need this site more than I thought with all of those posts. Welcome!!! I hope we can help you and learn from your experience at the same time. In the short time I've been coming to this forum, I feel like I'm among friends here. But, they're friends who really, truly get what you're going through.

Teach123, I noticed you are from Polsen Mt. I have a brother-in-law that lives in Ronan. We live in Miles City but have lived in Havre, Chinook, and Clinton. We have a place in Stites Idaho near Orphino and were headed over that way Wed. It is a 10 hour drive!!! Every time I make this trip I wind up in bed for a few days of my stay. I was just wondering if other people that travel a long distance has their fibro kick in from traveling? P.S. nice to see another Montanan Fibromite in the area. (Cool, I think I am getting some of the lango down!)

LOL...welcome kaze!

Glad you found us!

GO ON THE LANGO GIRLFRIEND!!!

YES...when I travel...I'm exhausted just from the mental stress of the WHOLE thing and then the driving/flying/whatever part...physically. I swell all up but I don't let it stop me! If I have to lay in bed for even half of the vacation...it's better than not having one at all! For me anyhow....

Again, welcome!!!

Join right in...we're waiting!!!

Thanks Suzee, my feet and knees swell up, I didn't realize it might be from the fibro. One doctor told me fibro dosen't give you swelling... I think I would have to differ. I am hoping this trip will be different...I am going to take a muscle relaxer during the trip. Hopefully that will help. If anyone has any other suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks, Kaze

kaze welcome to the group and glad to here you are gaining. you aren't alone with those attacks. my husband can now tell when i turn white it is time for good drugs bed and waiting on. that tends to help shorten the length of time it lasts. somday maybe we can figure out how to avoid the whole thing.

again welcome to the group
