I just found a real comfort thing for my sore stinging feet. While at Wal-Mart my husband pointed out these slippers that have a springy soft sole. They're called EZ Feet by Deerfoams. Not much to look at but feel so good to walk around in. They have different styles some squishier than others. I went for maximum comfort.
