Hey everyone!

I have a doc appointment tomorrow and I was trying to think of what to tell him about, because if I go through everything I'm going to be there all day Anyways I was going to bring up one thing to him that is a pretty new symptom for me, and I was wondering if anyone else also has this problem.

I have chronic back pain (like everyone else here) but in the past month or so I've had sever pain on just one of my disks. It's a disk in my high-middle back and it's killing me! there is a constant discomfort there and if I touch it I get sever pain. There is no bruising, swelling or redness, nothing to say that there is a problem there, besides the pain. I've tried to look this up but everything I seem to find is for pain in a larger area or pain that's radiating to other body parts... I already have that but this is a new thing for me so I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with a single disk or if everything is more of a general pain...

I plan on bringing it up to my doc anyways tomorrow but it's always nice to have an idea of what other people have experianced with this.

Thanks

Sar

Sar, I really hope your appt goes well. What I try to do is make a list of things that I need to discuss. I try to prioritize them for the dr. Sometimes I make a copy for the dr so we can go thru the list together. Personally, I think it's important for them to know all the symptoms you are experiencing to make sure you aren't dealing with something in addition to the fibro.

Just throwing in my 2cents. Hope the appt goes well!
