I think all fibro people are thought to be crazy and call it fibro, I think we seem crazy BECAUSE we have fibro.... It is such a mystery, even to those who have it.

I agree. Having fibromyalgia can make us feel crazy. The relentless aches and pains, headaches, exhaustion, brain fog, etc. We put up with so much day in and day out. We are actually very brave. The doctors who don't believe us are the ones who need to see the psychiatrist.

My rheumie told me that's all I had was FM and I just needed to get used to it. Now, that's a crazy recommendation from a doc. Turns out, I got a second opinion, and I actually had Lyme disease which resulted in FM. I wonder how many fibros actually have Lyme disease? It's worth looking into. Fibro is a mystery and is caused by something. For me, it was lyme. I got treated for Lyme and other "stuff" and guess what? I'm better! I chose the alternative route with herbals, homeopathics, supplements, acupuncture, etc. I was sick and tired of all the scripts. Conventional medicine failed me. I tried something different and it worked! I got better with the guidance of an MD in Georgia whose expertise in alternative medicine gave me back my life!!!

If anybody wants more info on how I got better from fibro, jusst PM me. I'll be happy to answer any questions!

Lymie

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.
