In your attempt to discover the source of your pain do you ever imagine the 'disease of the day that is causing your pain? I am constantly doing this. And trying to 'force' myself to think about something else seems to just add to the pain.

yea, i guess so, like which disease did that pain come from, like for instance i have pain in my right side under my ribs today, now if this morning when i got up i should thought which disease does that come from? Well i did and i dont know so i just chalked it up to an overall disease, that i dont have a name for yet. I thought about it all day because its hurt all day, and im probably the one that made it hurt all day by forceing myself to wonder? All it did was add to the pain. Love ya Garry u r so right, now how do i stop?

when i was going through all of the testing i wondered what could be causing this? am i nuts? is it lime disease? is it cancer? is it this that and every other horible thing? what arelief when i found out it was only one or two awful things. i worried myself into an anxiety attack beyond my imagination. now i examine the pain or strange feeling for a short period of time if i have had it before i don't worry. if it is new i call my doc. hope it helps.

As far as my breast cancer I had when i was 24, I was in denial for years, that they gave me someone elses test results. I mean I did have a lump but I never felt sick like I always thought ppl with cancer felt. However, having two surgeries in two months, 3 months of radiation and one years worth of chemo did the trick for me, I was sick all the time after that.

I blame my fibro on having a breast implant after I got reconstruction after the cancer. I had it removed, because it started leaking and thought my fibro would go away like magic, it didnt.

I blame my heart problems on my mom. LOL When she has something, I usually am right behind her on having the same thing. It is a joke in the fam.

My anxiety level is over the top, I worry about EVERYTHING. And meds dont really help. Gosh we are all in a need of a big gentle hug today, huh!!

((((HUGS to you all)))

Yes I constantly wonder if my new pain is something more than fibro and worry about old ones that I still have and hope they are fibro related. I get them checked out and they don't so far seem to be from anything else but I worry worry worry too. And then feel even worse from it. You are not alone.

Wow, I should of read more posts before posting my own, this is what I have been feeling. Always wondering if they missed something, and my new one?

Worried that test I have had will cause something. I had an MRI and all over the place they are talking about the contrast causing serious disease, like I need to feel worse!

You are for sure not alone on this one!!

my opinion of Chiro is this....if you broke your wrist - would you go to the doctor three times a week so he could pop it back into place? It just does not make sense to me. I went for two months...it only made things worse. Physical therapy has worked much better for me.
