Kimmy, I am glad that you found us. There is a lot of great information here and lots of support. From my understanding fm is not progressive,but can be effected by stress, not eating healthy, lack of sleep & lack of exercise. Basically, doing what you can to take the best care of your body as possible is the best thing for you. I have had fm for 16yrs and still have flares but I am better equipped to deal with them. I wish you the best of luck on this journey that you are facing. Please don't hesitate to use us to ask ?'s, vent, be silly, whatever you need. We are here for you.
