MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

Just wondering which is better for your fibro pain hot weather or cold weather or neither?

My pain does not like extreem cold it makes my pain worse however I personally aside from the pain cannot stand the extreemly hot weather.

Does either either one make your pain worsen. If you would choose a time of the year when your pain was the best would there be a time? If your answer was yes do you think it is because of the weather?

Hi,

I'm with you the cold weather bothers me but so does extreme heat, my body seems to prefer the 65-70 degree temp. I live in central fl and its been so darn hot and humid, fibro really acting up been glad when summer is over!

Sincerely,

Victoria

I have huge issues with the colder weather then I do the warmer, humidity for me also plays a big role.. I went to vegas back in February and it was close to 90, it didn't even bother me in fact it felt great!! Come back here to Washington in the freezing cold and humidity is so high I was miserable, Ive decided that I am going to win the lottery and retire to Vegas lol

It's the cold and the stormy seasons that really bother me.

JC, When it was below -0, I was very comfortable. Cold, but comfy. When it is in the 80's, I'm miserable. Rain, snow, and fog are horrible due to headaches and body aches.

Sun shinning on my hurts. I have to stay in the shade.

Weather is stupid for me.

Bela, remember those coule of times this year we got to below 0? I mentioned this before but I had gone to the store and when I came out and loaded the groceries into my car, I notice that I was totoally pain free. It happened again the second time we went below 0 too.

I really don't think that either are good for me. Cold weather makes me hurt and going outside is just awful for me. Summer here is very hot and I just plain feel sick when I go outside. Spring and fall are pretty good for me although they do not last very long. I never used to sweat during the summer but for the last few I sweat like a pig and will almost black out between the house and the mailbox due to the heat. I am to the point that going outside is just about one of the things I don't want to do anymore.

I think that winter makes me hurt soooo bad and summer makes the buzzing and fatigue worse. Same as taking a bath. It helps my pain but makes me have to lie down and makes the buzz soooo bad. It's a trade off.

I'm the opposite, but then I've always had to be contrary Smile

I prefer the winter, it's much easier on me. Can't stand the summer! It's murder on me.

In fact, I want to head to down to Ozzie Wozzie's for the winter Smile Who wants to go with me?

I've always hated the cold. And I live in Central Florida and don't know what real cold is. My husband says I'm solar powered ~ I need the sun!
