Ok yesterday I posted and said I would fill you all in about my life and the issues I have had since my first car wreck Jan 28, 2006. I was a realtor salesperson at the time. I had just switched to a bigger company and took on the role marketing manager in our real estate firm. Well my boss and I seen things in a little different than the other. We butted heads all the time so I was struggling with the decision on moving over but thought it would pass and everything would be fine.

So I was scheduled to attend four day training in Chicago leave on Monday come home Friday. That Saturday I had shown property and forgot to turn the heat down so we as a family went out tha tevening to turn down heat and go rent movies. Boom we were hit on major road t boned at my door. We had all four kids in the car and my husband. Side Air bag popped me in the shoulder. I was scared senseless but tried to stay calm for the kids. They were 11,10,8,6 at the time. So we went to prompt care after done x rays everything fine they gave us pain med and muscle relaxers and said it will take few days just deal basicly.

After a couple weeks and the pain was gettin worse not better I called dr and she took a look at me ran tests so forth. Gonna skip a few months cuz we all been thru that. Everything came back fine started physical therapy and it made it worse. They stopped it and ran more tests still normal. So I didn't know what to do. EMG dr gave me pamplet on myofascia pain sydrome and I just started balling couldn't stop. I just wanted to be fixed!

Needless to say I quit working at real estate firm and opened my own. Passed brokers test and away I went. Thought everything would be good.. Spent all kinds of money and took vacation of a life time Disney/Universal for two weeks. Well very ltl riding for me on rides but we had fun. Hottub at the house we rented was GREAT! Came home and back to work I thought, kids home for summer and new biz not a good combination!

Two weeks after vacation my daughter the 10 yr. old wanted to spend the night at friends house so we let her. We got a call about 3:30 in the morning and she wanted to come home. So I told her to call dad and see if he could pick her up so I didn't have to get all the kids out. My husband worked midnights as a Police officer. He did pick her up and told them he was sorry that she woke them up. Pat (hubby) started to bring her home and she started crying and told him that she was touched by a man there. Pat started to ask her questions being in the profession he's in and called his supervisors and myself. We went thru all the steps and formality. I thought nothing like this would happen to us! We went thru this for two years just about and we were goin to court then not then we were and this mast month they dropped the case and is not going to prosecute this man who molested my daughter. I still cry over it.

We have filed law suit against the person who hit us and his insurance co. I don't know where that will go.

Then two weeks ago we were hit again in a rear end accident with my duaghter and a friends baby. So my pain is in full swing again! I don't know what to do. I have to start prolotherapy all over again. And it is so expensive.

There are so many things that has happened to us! It seems like I steop forward one step and back two the next.

Oh and to top it all off, we are being audited from the IRS for 2005!

I hope things turn around soon. My life has been crazy! I pray everyday for my family and my business to succeed.

Thank you for listening!

Lana

I am soooo sorry to hear about your last 2 years!!!! I'm glad that you were able to share it with us. This is a good group of people and they are glad to help. Anytime! Usually there is someone out of bed during the nights - since we all sleep so well

May you have peace and comfort for you, your family, and especially your daughter.

And to all the other mothers that read this and also got scared - remember no town is too small! Been there, done that

Hugs to you lanajo and welcome to the group.

Im sorry to hear about your hardships. Tell your daughter it is good to write about things that happened like in poetry or just short stories. She doesnt have to show anybody or talk about it out loud so it makes getting everything out of her system easier. It will help in her getting past it where she won't be as angry about everything. Also it will make her wiser and more aware of the surroundings around her, which I know its best to be as young and innocent for as long as you can. But thats the only thing I know to say to you. I am sorry to hear the person didn't get a sentence of any kind. Did they have to at least register as a sex offender???

no he didn't have to do anything. He is laughing at the system waiting to do it again and again. He did this in North Carolina and got off too. He won't stop.

My daughter goes to counseling every two weeks and seeing psyc. every two months for meds. We run out of visits every yr.

I will be back on later.
