angelcath,

I don't know what time of night you are taking it. My doctor suggested that I take it with food, maybe if you ate a yogurt if you like that?

I was on sort of an even keel also, but I pretty much could let the house fall down around me, nothing really bothered me, so it did help with my anxiety. Before I was on it I used to cry all the time.

Well, I'm off of it now. You can read under Cymbalta taper "medicine & treatments" I'm still having a wicked time with the withdrawal even though I did it slowly. I'm not crying, just the physical effects.

Please whatever you do, don't stop it abruptly if you do go off of it.

Everybody is different, so it's your choice. P.S. your not Crazy.

Well, Im glad SOMEONE doesn't think Im crazy lol just kidding! I definately won't just quit it, I am going to talk to my doc about it next time I see her. Im on 60mgs right now, and I think I'll ask her if I can lower it to 30mgs. I have tried to take it with food and it doesn't seem to help. I take it just before I go to bed, maybe that's why I can sleep...sometimes lol

You are supposed to take it in the morning. it makes a big difference then. The dr and pharmacist told my daughter to only take it first thing in the morning.

I tried Cymbalta 3 months ago for a week but I had to stop due to the side effects. Now I've been on Lyrica for 5 days but so far nothing has change... i'm glad you found something that works...

I also take both Cymbalta and Lyrica now. I am having some trouble with increasing the Lyrica due to feeling drunk. The cymbalta doesn't help me with the pain. I am starting to think Lyrica isn't for me, but I will give it another day or two to see what happens.

I don't get any upset stomach with the Cymbalta since the first couple of days. I am now on 50mg and take it every night. I think it helps me sleep. Of course, the Lyrica helps that as well cuz I was able to stop my Ambien for now.

Well up until yesterday I thought I was doing fine on the Cymbalta. I was on 60 mg a day. Yesterday I had a huge panic attack and cried literally for 2 hrs. Called dr, he said go off my buspar, he is changing me to klonopin and decrease the cymablta to 30 and stay at 30.

So maybe for some the 60 is too much. Dunno

I had to decrease my Cymbalta back to 30 mg after being on the 60 for awhile. I find that I have fewer side effects and it seems about the same as the 60 as far as pain relief. I was too hyper on the 60mg, and also had bad hand tremors at that dose. Doing ok now that I'm back down to 30mg. Hope the klonopin helps you. Panic attacks are a nightmare to deal with and we have enough to deal with as it is!

Hi everyone... It took a while for the side effects from Lyrica to go away, I wasn't sure at first but the doc said It takes time, so I waited and they are gone,so try to wait it out If you think Its helping at all, It took atleast a month to get used to.
