Ok, VERY embarassing, but I have to ask....does anyone else on here have difficulties with going to the bathroom? by that I mean the following:

Having to go to the bathroom very frequently (e.g. every 30 mins)

having to "push" the urine out and concentrate on doing so?

cloudy looking urine

having to go to the bathroom at least 2-4 times during the night

"dribbling" urine either and/or before or after going to the bathroom

If anyone could/wishes to answer me with their experience, I would appreciate it!

Thanks,

Laura

Hi Laura,

No need to be embarassed- it's just part of life! I have alot of urinary tract issues including going to the bathroom very frequently. Most days I'm going more than 20 times a day. Funny thing is I don't HAVE to go at night. I wake up needing to, but it isn't urgent enough to get me out of the bed. I also have to "push" the urine out alot of the time as though my bladder muscles aren't working properly. On top of that I have a frequent burning or discomfort in the bladder. It isn't an external burning; it feels internal- if that makes sense. Odd thing is, the worse the burning in my bladder, the worse my body aches get. I used to think I had urinary tract infections, but I don't. I guess it's kind of like Interstatial Cystitis (sp?) Maybe you should talk to your doctor about it and see what they think. Don't feel like you're all alone or be embarassed. I think you're in good company. I hope that makes you feel maybe just a little better.

Jen

I started a post on this topic last week, so I know how you feel. I too have to "push" and seem to really have to concentrate to get it going. Sometimes I sit there for minutes with my mind thinking about all kinds of things and then I need to remind myself why I am sitting there! Takes real effort sometimes!

During the day I don't need to go overly often. I usually have to go at least once during the night, which is frustrating, considering I need to concentrate to go....and I don't want to wake up to much so I can go back to sleep!

Sometimes my urine is cloudy, sometimes not and I think maybe I do dribble abit.

So, don't be embarassed or feel bad.... You are not alone!

you are not alone on this topic. ihave had major accidents i just get the urge to go and it is gone. other times i know i have to go and it takes for ever and it is so little that it seemed like a waste of energy. i also deal with frequent uti's. one thing that does help me is crannberry juice and lots of water. I still go alot but at least i have some control and fewer uti's
